i was watching NFL MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL with my roomies at Northern Iowa Unveristy and Howard Cowsell came on to inturpt the game and was very choked up, told the audience this is only a game, and said John Lennon was shot tonight.... I remember Double Fantasy coming out right before that, his best work... Still have the LP in the attac. Woman was an amazing song...

Good to see some here respect music from yesteryear and what it made music today. Without the Beatles, Elvis, Chuck Berry and those folks, we wouldn't have the Stones, Zeppelin, Dylan, Bruce or even Journey. They were all influenced by those acts. God Lennon may have been high all the time but who cares? What a vision he had.

I can't believe it's been 28 years. I remember being at my grandmothers house, who died in '82 and seeing it on the news.
