Private Messages

Anyone having a problem being alerted at the top of the screen in the info bar that you have a new PM?

Mine isn't working, and I assume others aren't as well.

I sent one out yesterday and it still hasn't been read by the member
today.

I haven't recieved any since I joined either and I usually get a few
everyday at other sites.

The same thing happened to me but then I noticed the pop up blocker on my internet explorer page is on and maybe that needs to be off for it to work? I have no idea.

* As Lynn mentioned above, make sure Popup blocker is deactivated for this site

* Also Check and make sure your personal settings allow a notification:

Go to PROFILE,,,,, PREFRENCES
and find Notify on new Private Message :
and make sure YES is marked.


Let me know if you have any more problems with it...
in addition to this, I also updloaded a new picture with RED letters "NEW MESSAGE", so up on top here where the link bar is, you should see it as a new message arrives. Give it shot and keep me posted.

Yessir, I thought it was just me or Firefox.

Popup blocker is the culprit.

Mine is fixed now.
