Gran Torino
For some reason I really wanted to dislike this movie, but I didn't. Thought it was very good. Precious is on deck from my Netflix queue next.

Re: Gran Torino
I LOVED Gran Torino! Let us know how Precious is-I have it on queue as well but it's down a few movies...I made the mistake of giving my kids the password to the NetFlix account-but it's OK, it's cute to see how excited they get when their movie arrives...we watched Savannah Smiles about 80 times.

I am not a fan of Mr Eastwood but I really enjoyed Gran Torino.
I also liked Precious but somehow don't see you fancying that one Fella.

Re: Gran Torino
Gran Torino is one of the finest movies of the last 15 years. I've seen it at least 20 times.
Clint Eastwood is one of the best and most honorable Americans to have ever lived. In fact, he's one of the most honorable men to ever live in the whole history of the world. He is amazing.

I've never seen Gran Torino, but recently saw Precious. That one is a little different. Great to see Lenny Kravitz in a movie and that performance near the end of the movie by Monique was definitely worth that Oscar she won. After seeing her in such a dark role in that movie, I still find it hard to believe she is actually a comedian in real life.
