My wife is a klutz
She fell off a chair last night cleaning the top of the fridge and broke her foot. The only positive of this is I won't have to go to work tomorrow so I can drive her to her doctor's appointment.

Ouch. Send my regards to her, Ed. I hope she heals fast.

And you have to get your own beer now.

Damn, that sucks Ed! Hope they get her feeling better soon.
Re: My wife is a klutz
Doctor wants her off her feet for 2 weeks. DAMN! I'm taking another sick day tomorrow to make sure everything is ok. My office might let me work from home for a day or two. Lori can't drive anywhere.
Anyone ever had to deal with this kind of thing?

Re: My wife is a klutz
One good thing came out of this. My office is letting me work from home today. Lori tried going up stairs on crutches last night and nearly took a header. They are letting me work here to keep an eye on her for the day. Vicodin and crutches apparently do not mix.

But it's a great way to get more Vicodin.

Re: My wife is a klutz
How is your Wife's foot today, Fella?
Please tell her I'm praying for it to heal quickly.
Klutz= Gerene
I have broken both ankles a couple of times and the last time was while I put up a sheet to block off a/c in our old apartment, yes I was also standing on a chair.
Better than that though is the time I sat on my own foot and broke two toes.
Now that my friends is a KLUTZ!
