If you're looking for something to watch, there's a Nascar Nationwide race from Daytona. Lots of Cup drivers in the race. 8:00 Eastern on espn2.
Also the Sprint Cup race under the lights at Daytona tomorrow. 8:00 Eastern on TNT.

Glad we aren't going to Daytona Beach until Sunday then. I had no idea there were races going on. Hopefully it will be less packed by Sunday.

I've never been there for a race, but I'm sure it's a zoo. Every race I've ever been to is. There'll probably be a bunch still there on Sunday. Hopefully, you'll be going in opposite directions.

Yep. When they have a race at Texas Motor Speedway, people that live around there go away for the weekend. It's a friggin mess. That's just like Texas though. They build something like that without the roads to support it. They're doing the same thing with the new Cowboys stadium. That's going to be a nightmare. You've got the new Cowboys stadium, the Rangers ballpark and Six Flags all right there together.

I go to the Texas races every year, so I know what you mean. The problem with race tracks, even more so than stadiums, is because they're so large, they need a lot of land, so you have to go to the middle of nowhere to find a property like that. And of course, if it's the middle of nowhere, there's no roads going to it. That area around the track there has built up quite a bit since the track opened, but still, when you only have the big crowds a very few times a year, it's hard to get the roads you'd like to have.

Happy 4th.... I will do my major partying tomorrow nite, due to the fact that I have to work tomorrow .... but I will catch up ,trust me ....

I had breakfast with my whole family today, I'm just about to go out for a run, then back home to take a nap cuz I have to work tonight...I suppose I'll have to catch up tomorrow night too.

Shea Stadium used to have great ones put on by Grucci.

Those nosebleed seats were the ticket to the stars
& to view the show up so high
with the breeze flowing gently against your skin
you almost felt as if you were looking into the eyes of heaven...
