Absynth???

Does anyone know how to make a drink with Absynth?

never tried it, but heard some stories....

the traditonal way is to pour a shot in a tall glass and put a sugar cube on a spoon and poor ice water over it. it should turn milky. share your experience

absinthe had been prohibited in the US until this past year. i did a little research & found that the FDA has put such a tight limit to thujone, the active ingredient, that it renders it useless as anything but nasty tasting alcohol. to be able to drink enough US absinthe to get the hallucinogenic effects, you'd probably die of alcohol poisoning first. you might want to look into importing more potent absinthe from europe. if you do, let me know what the effects are.
