Your favorite release.

Mine is Frontiers. Don't know why for sure, but the whole sound was incredible. It was like they came to a new level and Perry was at a turning point.

Love it!

I agree with you Cat, TBF is right up there for me also. But for some strange reason I always go back to Frontiers.

E5C4P3 is without a doubt their high point. Frontiers, although an incredible album, is the beginning of the end. It was the beginning of Perry's voice changing and the band straying from straight ahead rock and roll.

Completely sick of Journey. If forced to listen these days then the Rolie era stuff only for the most part.

Evolution then Departure for me. The Rolie era Journey with Smitty is top notch.

ok I have to go with E5C4P3 for me and then yes folks Raised On Radio, now what got me with this one was I'll Be Allright Without You, and Suzanne. And the most important Perry's looks at this point of his career. Yes ladies I am a Perryloon and I have come out of the closet that is on this forum. When this man is up on stage singing with that hair and those tails oh God I am gone.

"Evolution", followed by "Frontiers." Both have INCREDIBLE songs to fit pretty much any mood.

I would agree that Escape is their best effort but for sentimental
reasons Frontiers is my fave on most days.

Evolution is my favorite. Smitty's on board, Rolie is still a force, Schon is rocking, Perry is awesome in his early voice and no FAGGO Cain! It's perfect. Schon's opening solo on Majestic kicks ass. That's the best instrumental song ever IMHO.

I'm going to buck the trend here and say Greatest Hits. While I think the best single album release is Escape....the GH CD accomplishes what most other GH cd's fail to accomplish....get all the best songs on it and leave the fan wanting little else.

If the GH cd had the title track from Escape, I wouldn't have a need to listen to anything else...

I never understood why everyone was so down on Raised On Radio....I've always loved it. king
