What a mess. This occurred for one of a few reasons.

A) Push tractor driver received a text message, this is very distracting. Wink

B) The transfer driver from the A bagroom, the girl in the tight shorts, drove by. bounce

C) The pilot yelled "No! I said to push tail East, moron!" cyclops

Actually, I can probably pinpoint it to one of two things.

A) The pilot accidentally hit a brake pedal. It is very uncommon and least likely, but not unheard of.

B) The push out driver was driving too fast. I'd bet money on this one.

I talked to the guy that was driving today, and he said it was the electrical system of the push tractor that failed. Nothing would work. He was turning the aircraft when it happened and the only thing that stopped the push tractor was the towbar. In the video it looked as though the nose of the airplane was against the tractor, but he said they never touched. The nose gear itself had to be rebuilt though.

I know all about that shit pRick. Those McDonnell D's are fickle as fuck. I used to sell their landing gear and components. Expensive shit to be sure.
