My baby is growing up!!!!

My daughter Jessica had her senior prom last night!!! What a beautiful little lady! I cannot believe she graduates in less than one month!!! Here she is.....

Beautiful as always. C is a very fine looking young man as well!!!!

Hes a good boy, the kind you know your daughter is safe with...very well mannered and respectful. Now she gets ready to begin her career as a Gator.....UF bound(hopefully...)

She'll get there. She's your daughter, she'll get anything she puts her mind too. C seems like a good boy....especially since he lets you beat him at basketball.

She's beautiful Tim. You must be very proud of her!! Her boy is cute as well!!

Really a reality slap in the face isn't it?? I was in your shoes last year at this time and it is such a shock to your system when it becomes "real". Wait til you see her in her cap and gown ~ I guarantee your knees will go weak.

you are SO right...shes got them already and tried them on last week. I nearly melted into the hardwood floors. Makes me wanna go back to those days where I would take her to Disney World and she would be in awe of Mickey Mouse or Cinderellas Castle...me pushing her around in her stroller and her holding her baby doll she named "Pamela"....where has the time gone?

I must admit its been a "coming back down to earth" type of experience. Ive needed a few of those tissues lately Nat, only I dont let anyone see that side of me. I do know when she leaves home its gonna be a tough pill to swallow.

But - if you find yourself in the same position as me - you get over it quickly!

I have 2 other daughters behind her still-ones 13 and the other is 10 so I will have to go thru this again...and again. I guess the real awakening moment is when the 10 year old leaves and its just me and the wife. We wont know how to act, we've had a kid since the year we were married.

I know what you mean - between the 2 of us it's 2 down and three to go. As terrible as it *sounds* I don't think I will have empty next syndrome, but then i may be surprised. Time will tell
