Paul is sick and I've been told that Arnel will be filling in. You ready to Wok and roll all night?

Fucker.
Looks like they are going to miss the top spot and debut at #2. That Buble guy must have a lot of ugly stay at home mom fans.

I've never even heard of this ass clown. What type of music does he play? And if you're looking at Hits Daily Double just remember that the Wal Mart numbers tend to flood in very early, but then there's a late kick at the end that's usually pretty good. The KISS section is huge. It has to be selling well.

Never heard of him either. Then again, I'm basically out of touch with what is current and stuck in my ways.
Still a chance Kiss will get the top spot, but no biggie if not. #2 is very respectable, but a chart topper would be cool. The sales projections are all over the place with Kiss moving anywhere between 100,000 and 180,000. That's a crazy swing in numbers which tells me no one knows WTF is going on yet.

Re: Kiss TONIGHT!
Dan, I hope they can hold that chart position. Either way, a nice debut. Getting ready to get on the road and see a band I've followed for 34 years since my parents bought me Kiss Alive! in a Baltimore K-Mart.
Life is good. Reports from Philly tomorrow.

Re: Kiss TONIGHT!
Is it me or is Paul really struggling...especially from 2:20-2:40? I've never heard him struggle before. Gotta give this a second listen when I get home as I can't turn it up too loud here at work.

Re: Kiss TONIGHT!
Dan his voice has been a bit rough on this tour. This is actually much better than the first few shows. You don't really notice it when you're there in person, but he is either sick or could have nodes on the chords. I look at it this way - he's 57 and I'm just lucky to be able to see them in 2009.
Show #2 tonight in DC, as long as my daughter's temperature continues to drop.

Paul's an icon and I take it for granted that the guy's human because he has done so well for soooo fucking long. I love that dude as a singer. While he may not have the voice Perry did in his prime, he's had 10X the career and he's not a quitter. Paul Stanley is a rock and roll vocal legend. I hope he gets better soon. Rough voice or not, I'd go see them in a second. Great show.

Looks like it is a go for tonight. They were really good in Philly. The pyro is off the charts and they sounded pretty damn tight. Loved the setlist too.

I'm heading out in about an hour. Little one seems ok, and wife told me to go ahead down there. Only 45 minutes away.
