I hate mice!

Well, I have enough traps out that if there are more, they shouldn't last long....

There's been a mouse in my kitched for the last three weeks; the little fucker just steals the bait out of the traps. Stupid cat ignores the mouse and keeps bringing me birds!

Sympathise with the mouse fear thing, btw, my mother was the same. Must be pretty horrible.

SB, try peanut butter, they can't steal that off of the trap.

Yep ! peanut butter works best. I bet Ari used cheese as she saw them use it in Tom & Jerry

Actually I have tried peanut butter and the little bastard managed to get it off without getting caught in the trap. Sprung it, but no mouse. Houdini mouse! I've been told jelly beans are good, but it might simply be I need a better trap.

Or a better cat, of course.

Have you tried a glue trap?

I saw a mouse run across the road yesterday when my sister and I were driving around in the mountains on a search and rescue mission (her husband was stranded while hunting) but, since it wasn't in my house, I was OK with it!
