The end of Cold Heart Empty The end of Cold Heart

Hey everyone,

For those not on Melodicrock, here's a message I posted earlier (for those interested)...

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to drop a note to those that are interested, that Cold Heart is no more. Alex and I have agreed to end the project. We've left on good terms, and will remain friends. He is a great guy, and an amazing talent. He just has too many other commitments right now to dedicate the time needed to finish the album.

I'm extremely saddened by this, as we've worked so hard on it. We became great friends over the last 3 years, and it'll be strange not working on this together anymore. I can't tell you how many hours we've spent on Skype chatting, laughing and getting to know each other (as well as our significant others). I certainly wish him the best of success, and I know he'll make himself a name in the industry. He just finished a mini-tour with one of the contestants from "Britain's got talent" and played for crowds with over 20,000 people!

I'm basically at ground zero with the project now, and will start over. I'll still have Fede's amazing drums on the album, but everything else will have to be re-recorded. Out of respect for Alex and all the work that he did, I won't be using the name Cold Heart.

Thanks to everyone who supported us, and maybe you'll hear the songs again someday.

Jim,

We are all old. The music genre is dead - at least from money making prospects.

Heritage acts like Journey can tour and do something and stuff 7 dics in a package and sell them for a dollar and claim platinum status, but it doesn't change the facts.

Make the music for yourself and share them here and on other sites as a hobby.

Anything else is a delusion in 2010.

Send me those mp3's. I'll give them a listen.

Laughing You WILL here it someday, but it'll be done properly and HOPEFULLY you'll pay for it? Probably not, but one can hope. Wink

Jim,

You know I wish you well. Trying to get you to continue, not discourage you.

And if you ever made it, rest assured I will steal your music on a torrent site and check it out. The end of Cold Heart Icon_wink
