OK, let's help Dean out.
He's got some life issues to take care of & heck we are not babies who need a shitter. So lets show him we can take care of ourselves & give him a break....

Re: What The Suck?
Well there wasn't an option for 4-5 times a week, which is what happens at our place. We have indoor pets, so it takes a lot of cleaning. Couple that with our collective tidiness compulsions and we put a vacuum to a lot of use. But not every day.
We have 3 My wife has a cleaning business.

holly shit, i haven't seen that green compact in years. i think i just had a flashback from when i was little!! i forgot all about that damn thing. but the first thing that comes to to mind regarding that particular vacuum, was how often that SOB turned over onto its side. built like a fuckin egg, it turns over live one too!! esp when turning the corner into another room!!

Oh, Suck Memories...lol
Many of those vacs could be & were passed on down to the next generation.
They are collectible
but you won't get rich
Depends on condition & if it has all it orig access in top condition
People collect them for some of those reasons
It reminds them of the vac that there mom used etc
Plus older vacs were made out of metal not plastic
I've alway liked Electrolux
we always had one around
they can last a lifetime
they had to
when bought orig
they were very expensive
those things cost $70 new in the 50's when $70 was more than 2 weeks salary
Rick, you let her keep the C ompact?
oooh women...
