Rush 7/19 - Bristow, VA
What an incredible show last night! Perfect seats in the Center Orchestra pit, 14th row. The sound system was immaculate and the band was off the charts. Stellar musicianship, Geddy's voice was much better than advertised, and the stage show was great. One pyro blast caught everyone off guard, and the screens and lasers were entertaining.
For me the star of the show was Neal Peart. Just amazing to watch.

Re: Rush 7/19 - Bristow, VA
My first Rush show last year in Columbus was kind of a depressing experience...
....because I didn't pay a LICK of attention to Geddy and Alex, and was too honed in on Peart's drumming. I've never focused so much on drumming at a live show before in my life but his work was just hypnotizing.
Great show actually, all in all... the vocal mix kind of sucked, but not nearly as bad as when I saw Van Halen in Indy.
