You guys kicked the Tigers last night... WOW. did not watch a lot of it, but damn...it was close
than bam. Texas kicked OU's ass.. I have not checked who is new number 1?
Texas...and Florida at #5
could that be who plays for national champs in january? If Penn State and Alabama both end up losing one or more games. BTW-- I am not a LSU fan, really... just never been a gator fan...
Rick
I dont see Alabama making it. But Florida or Georgia I believe will. And with Texas' remaining schedule I think they will slide in.

HE will be the next Brett Favre... and I LOVED BRETT!! So I can love Tim... if he becomes a packer in 09.
Dude, Tebow won't play a year as qb in the NFL. He might even be drafted as a flanker. He can't throw the deep ball for shit, and that high school formation they run doesn't work on Sundays. As a Packer, hope for Bradford, McCoy or Harrell or even Sanchez as QB saviours. Tebow is definitely not the answer. Great kid and great athlete, smart and likeable, but he simply is not on the NFL's Brass' wishlist as a QB.
Brett Favre is a fucking living legend. I see McCoy as a BF type of guy. Gutsy, slingshot thrower. Nasty fucker too.

Tebow is great. However they are even now in his JR year saying he may not be compatible for a being a QB in the NFL. They talked about all week on ESPN. Mel Kiper actually was talking about it and Tim called in and asked what he needed to do to be a NFL QB.
Great leader though. Maybe he'll turn out to be a "Slash" type player. The dude can run and throw. He ain't now Farve either. Farve is already in the HOF as far as I am concerned. He should go in right now.

Re: Tim Tebow!
Tim is the new Arnel. I mean wasn't Tebow born in the Philippines too?
Why yes he was.
Tim Tebow is the fifth child of Bob and Pam Tebow, both of whom are
University of Florida graduates, Tim was born on August 14, 1987 in the
Philippines, where his parents were serving as Christian missionaries.
Why yes he was.

Re: Tim Tebow!
no no no no, Mana, he is not overrated-hes worth every penny he'll make in the future. Did you know this guy spearheaded a fundraising campaign in Florida that raised $300,000 for underpriviledged children? All on his own? Plus hes got 2 National Championships and 1 Heisman...with probably more to add later this year...Manarocks wrote:Tebow is so overrated.
Overrated? No, I hardly think so. I wish all mankind were as talented and good hearted as Tim Tebow.
