I will be buying it right away. I have to say Deano I have always enjoyed reading your insights in MR. I have never posted there though. I have been a lifelong Journey fan and it is nice seeing the other side of things.

As much as an asshole Neal and Friga-Cain are, IMO, pirating is wrong. They did afterall, have the talent to make that disc, whether or not you like them or not, a guy like Arnel, who isn't an asshole, in fact is the only non asshole of em all, shouldn't be cheated.

Oh, honestly, all things aside, I agree. They gotta make a living. But seriously, when Arrival was out, I downloaded it 3 months ahead of time and then bought three cause I really liked it. Plus it was SA's first besides TS. I bought two of the USA releases and the overseas release with the bonus track.

I just thought Revelations would be out on a torrent or upload somewhere. SOMEONE in the camp usually releases it......I will buy it. I actually have the USA copy ordered and the overseas one without the DVD......

Agreed whole-heartedly. I've pirated though before, but get this, 90% of the time I end up getting the album anyway, or if not that, I'll see the artist in concert or buy a DVD. I'm too damn guilt-ridden about things to download 100% of my music.

ALSO, there's nothing like the crisp sound good CDs bring.. and alot seems to get lost from upload to download.

Didnt they make enough $$ of the 'classics' already and collect millions of $ for all the shows ???
I dont feel its fair for us to have to pay over and over again ....
Also,,, you can get the exact CD quality , Prog;)

They wont starv without my $11..... and they will get their money no matter what,,,,,,, its just that someone like you, will be paying for my 'COPY' too

Last but not least,,,, did you know that the MAIN income for a musician is NOT through their cd's?
from a $11 cd, Journey is LUCKY if they pocket $.50 .
The main money comes from tours and other merchendise .....

I understand the downloader's point of view too, and don't find a problem with it from their perspective. It's just that me personally, I'm the type of guy that likes to collect and help contribute to the music industry in some way.

I guess I just long to experience music much like many of you did growing up, eagerly buying/ordering records and cassettes, and keeping the music industry alive.

I just dont buy as much as I used to,,,,,,mainly cause there's too much crap coming out,,, so I may download something to listen to it,, but even then I feel cheated, cause of the worthless crap I download,,, I want my bandwidth back

If I download something that I enjoy, then I will most definately buy it,,,, same goes for movies,,,
