Just do a youtube search of "Kiss Rio 2009" and see the craziness from last night. Europe, South America, all huge stadiums and rabid crowds. Journey even opened for Kiss last summer on one of the festivals.

I don't think Journey had anything going on like this to celebrate the fact they were playing:

I am now going to learn everything I can about the Brazilian culture and become an honorary citizen of Rio. Perhaps Tommy Thayer's family will like me.

Did Journey even sell the place out in Manilla?

Kiss are playing stadiums in Europe and South America.

What is subbing for Kiss these days isn't really Kiss anyway. Still, they are HUGE compared to Journey. Both scab bands these days though for sure.
