It kind of hurts, because these guys are so popular and in your face daily, I feel really bad. Doesn't matter what network or what political party, it is sad.

Holy shit, he was on WBAL radio in my hometown of Baltimore just this morning!

He sounds pleasant and upbeat, and is hours away from passing. This is really weird.

I always respected and genuinely liked the man. So sad.
Also, Charlie Jones the sporstcaster, and a San Diego area resident died this morning.
We're hoping those two along with Jim McKay make up the three so there won't be another.

wow.. the entire NBC news tonight is dedicated to him.. so sad..

Elections will not be the same without him. Two days before Father's day and him and his son were best friends.

Just gets back from vacation and wham, collapses at work and dies from a heart attack.

Dont' let it just be words, no regreats, cherish everything and everyone and everyday.

Shep is giving all of his show to Tim so far.

I am surprised that regular tv NBC is now doing regular scheduling.

Tim was an amazing human being and man.

i will miss him on sunday mornings

He always presented himself in an intellegent, even-handed manner -
it didn't matter whose side he was on - even if it wasn't the same one you were - ya just knew he was right.

He will be missed.

Yep, at least someone gets it. So many people don't understand why it affects us when people we don't 'know' pass.

Tim's son is already able to speak on tv about his father. WOW, what an AMAZING brilliant young man. WOW. Your children are what you are.

Aounds like while touring in Europe, Bruce gave a shout out to Tim during Thunder Road. Came in part way, so hope I got that part right.
