I've been checking this ghost town since Wed., and nothing (until now). That's pretty bad.

Well I guess I just found the answer to my question. This place used to be hopping. What the heck is going on? Between this, and the absence of many regulars on MR... Did I miss the rapture?

Yep it's like Fukushima - will pop in from time to time but can't see the point at the moment as we're just talkin' to ourselves

well the traffic goes up and down depending on how busy people are in life...
Once that Journey album is out, I bet we will have some interesting debates goin on!

Facebook is the culprit of a lot of message board activity decrease.

Jim, I've done a ton of topic starting over here. Can't always be the one - especially when I have my own (semi-infamous) forum.

I do know through chatting with some on youtube, that a decent amount of people do read here.

This forum has to find it's niche. What does it want to be? For example:

melodicrock.com - Where we all met. Ground zero. It's gone through some changes forum wise, but that is where most of you communicate.

My site - The most successful spin off. Way different though. Howard Stern sense of humor, better have some thick skin and not mind porn.

Here - I like the site because I get to communicate with some I wouldn't normally be able to since I'm not on the MR forums, but for others - not sure. If you can post already on MR, what do you get out of WTF that you can't get there?

Not a criticism, just an observation in response to Jim's thread start.

The block feature here is a major plus.

It's just a site to vent in public I guess as all the topics are generally second hand and to communicate/argue with Drew when we need to. Mention MR in a topic title and that dude is over faster than a crowd spotting a stray dog in the Phillipines

We all have respect for Behshad, there's no disputing that but he's a lazy fuck at times, spends way too much time with his family and over at MR
