I'm not expecting anything truly life-changing. I like City of Hope pretty well; great guitar-work, nice change of pace with the lyrics, and decent vocals. Are there flaws? Yeah, Arnel's diction seems actually spottier here than it was on Revelation: There were a few words that I had serious trouble making out. But I definitely don't think it's the greatest song ever.

Here's my problems with it: guitar's kind of annoying, you can TELL where they protooled the accent, and they did a horrible job of "covering it up", and the song just has NO power to it.

Again...this is all MY view on it, but people happen to agree with me. And those that don't...I'm glad y'all found a new album to enjoy.

Jeff owned Edge, but also hit this one out of the park.

You ain't fuckin kidding. Jeff was great on a lot of their songs, but he owned this one.

Rick, this was me Niggy and Deano in Atlantic City. Jeff won me over when I heard it. It was no one there but the three of us.
