Best Peter Cetera songs...
Well since I'm showing so much Scheff/Chicago love, I figured I may as well post some amazing songs from THE man!
1. "Remember The Feeling"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGK2pkPMtOE&feature=related
2. "Stay With Me"- Never heard this song before now, and it is AWESOME!!! Classic Chicago...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l380OfifNd8&feature=related
3. "I Wasn't The One Who Said Goodbye"- Pretty cool song by Peter (and I believe Agnetha from ABBA).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJGuCdnV8ac&feature=related
4. "Have You Ever Been In Love"- Have always loved this song, and think it's and amazing tune.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObKoyUMa_58
5. "One Clear Voice"- Me being a musician, many times I don't catch the lyrics to songs. I heard chord changes and melodies. I listened to the lyrics the very first time I heard this song, and I think it's one of the best songs ever written. I don't know if Peter wrote it, but whoever wrote it did one hell of a job!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz2JrfbDpao&feature=related
6. "No Explanation"- From the Pretty Woman soundtrack, and I think it's pretty cool. Very Chicago "ish".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipwwWmSxMEA&feature=related
7. "Only Love Knows"- Never heard this until tonight. Very cool song. DAMN I love youtube!!! :-)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gc6GfSERhBE&feature=related
8. "80's Chicago Medley"- I would LOVE to hear Peter with Chicago. I don't believe that'll ever happen, but just to prove he could still cover the material... Here's a cool medley he recorded a few years ago. He's tuned down, but his vocals would still sound awesome with Chicago! Anyways, here they are...

A friend of mine saw Cetera in Atlantic City a couple of years ago. Said he was fantastic but only played 45 minutes.

I thought you went through school listening to Chuck Berry and Elvis?
Re: Best Peter Cetera songs...
Cetera solo songs:
1. End of Camelot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9JKpJRU1lc -- Good stuff, tasteful guitar playing (I think it's Luke)
2. Even a Fool Can See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu9ySiS7TcY - Great melody, nice relaxed song
3. Where There's No Tomorrow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnmQfVoZtc - This song would be at home on a Journey, John Waite, or REO CD
4. Restless Heart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DhPgcb5Ktc - Another good mid-tempo AC song.
Hard to believe he's 68... damn. Never did see him, either alone or with Chicago. He was in Toledo a year or 2 ago and wanted to make the trip, but had an obligation.

Re: Best Peter Cetera songs...
My first girlfriend once tried singing "Hard Habit To Break" to me once to try to get back together. I was moved by it and fucked her one more time at age 16.
Fast forward to 2012. She's a fat fucking pig now.

I might be offended if A-you even actually knew what I look like and/or B-this came from anyone but you....you coldhearted (or not) son of a bitch. Now run along and play your little songs, maybe some day you can record some of them....or not.GI_Jim wrote:Ed wrote:My first girlfriend once tried singing "Hard Habit To Break" to me once to try to get back together.
