Anyone else pumped for Batman???

I'm pretty damn excited about this new movie, and I think I'm going to catch the first showing tomorrow. Anyone else going to see it?

Going to see it on Monday afternoon. I'm off, so I can avoid the crowds.

I saw the one with Jack Nicholson and it was terrible. Never watched another. Saw the first 2 Spiderman movies and those were awful as well. I'm done with cartoons unless it's the original Superfriends cartoon. That show was awesome.

Well, leave it to some sick FUCK to go into a Batman movie and start shooting the place up. TERRIBLE news this morning, and I feel terrible for those people. You know there were a lot of children present to see and live through that shit! I wish the bastard would have shot himself and saved us a lot of tax dollars. Terrible.

On another note, I can't WAIT to see the movie myself today.

I'm not going to blame anyone that got shot or anyone they brought, regardless of age. This nut assumes full accountability for his own actions. And unlike our idiot president, I will NOT accept the mindset that he "didn't do this alone" ... he did. I will also not blame the government for building the roads that allowed him to travel to the theater. That's how the president feels, though. This is the fault of teachers and roads, according to him. And he's said as much and vehemently defended this sentiment over the past week. He is truly a fucking idiot.

It's time to ban movie theaters.

Well, I saw it this afternoon, and it was pretty freaking awesome!! I'm not to big of a fan of how they muffled Bane's voice, but other than that it was great. It got a little distracting, and I don't think it was necessary. This wasn't (in my opinion) as good as The Dark Knight, but it was pretty damn cool on it's own. I won't spoil anything, but I LOVED how it ended.

Jim, what was it like watching a movie people were slaughtered to only a few hours prior? At any point did it take away from the movie? Surely anyone dopey enough to think that roadside memorials might serve as reminders to not drive recklessly certainly led a group prayer prior to the movie. How well was that received?

I don't know why. Nothing wrong with the site now (except that my fucking IP is blocked from it!!!). Can't say I'm missing the forum though. It's become pretty stagnant over the last year. All of my favorite posters have left the site. Dean leaving us was a HUGE hit on the board. It'll never be the same now.

I'm sure my absence from the board has been a relief for Andrew, and I think I'll make it permanent. I don't have anything left to say there and he's been a dick to me ever since he fucked over Alex and I with the whole MR cd. Whatever. If he keeps running his forum the same way, the only people left will be Jeremey pushing a Barry White cd, and Vana logging in as other people and giving himself compliments on his own forum.

I still think it is fucking HILARIOUS that Vana posted an "albums that deserve a 100%" thread RIGHT after Andrew gave him a 100% on his album. How fucking conceited is that?
