Something I've noticed about karoake in recent times is that there sure seem to be a lot of "ringers" and they usually sing country music since it's so easy. Not long ago my wife and I we're going to sing a song at a bar. The Karoake DJ had just started and we had our slips in early. And hour and a half later we were still waiting and some people had been up twice.

I do know there ARE karaoke contests and some of the people can fucking sing!!!!
Yeah, it sucks waiting around a long time. I usually staple my set list down, head to the men's room, down a liter bottle of California Cooler and put my tux jacket on while I'm waiting...hehe!!!!

Well...my voice is shot. 3 song night for me as well. "Iris" (Goo Goo Dolls), "Faithfully", and Livin' On A Prayer. Not the WISEST 2 out of 3 to pick (my g/f picked Faithfully)...but I MUST say that I did rather well. :-)
