Some things are just really good rules to live by hehehe
I have no fear of walking under a ladder - however, I will look up to make sure there is no one carrying a bucket of paint above me.

Re: Friday's Poll
I said no but maybe I really meant yes. I have a few jackets that get people pretty mad at me when I wear them at work.
I have a red one and I usually have a patient hemorrhage when I wear it. We also have heavy bleeders if any of the nurses wear red socks-go figure.
I have an orange one (SG, it has my name embroidered in blue!) and when I wear it-babies tend to get impatient and are born before the doctor gets there. I've started warning the docs "I'm wearing the orange jacket today so when I call you, you better come fast."

Thanks both of you. I played 5 years in the over 30 league, and I turn 40 next week. It's was a great 2nd chance at baseball after stopping in my early 20's.

Re: Friday's Poll
Hell yes Im supersticious. I have to wear the same Gator T-Shirt all thru football season on gamedays without being washed until they lose, then I wash it and start over. That shirt has achieved numerous SEC Championships, 2 National Championships, and 2 Heisman Trophys. Also, I definetly believe in the whole "knock on wood" thing.

Rick, man you know it!!!! Golf is a GREAT activity and everything you mentioned is big reasons why! Besides football, golf is my favorite activity..and besides pleasing the ladies....what do you shoot these days, or do you even keep score? I am a consistant mid 90's player. Never said I was real great at it but I have some shots sometime that keeps me coming back for more.

I wish I could play golf. I can hit a baseball over 400 ft, but hit ground balls at the driving range.

sounds like me. sometimes I chip like a madman-like Im PGA worthy then other times I chip and miss the green altogether. When the chipping game is working it helps a bunch. Of course then the putting game will go to shit or my fairway irons will disappoint me. But as long as there is beer.....

Re: Friday's Poll
It takes a LOT of practice. When I first started playing I went to the range twice a week and played 18 every 2 weeks. After a while I figured out why I was slicing. Then realized how to get more distance. Let the graphite shaft do the work, you just swing easily and smoothly.AR wrote:I wish I could play golf.
