While this forum takes pride in giving the members full freedom to express their opinions , we still moderate this place to make sure that this freedom doesnt get misused & abused.

While I think its OK if anyone has any opinions in regards of MR and how it has changed over the years, I will not allow any kind of personal attacks towards Andrew because of the following reasons

* Andrew is a friend. Not just my friend, but a friend to every single one of us.

* Andrew has always tried to be fair , when resolving conflicts.

* Andrew isnt a member here, so he can not defend himself. Got a problem with him? Email him.

* Andrew has always been honest and open with his opinions, indcluding his reviews.

* Andrew will only get fired up, when he has to defend himself. Which I dont see anything wrong with that.

And finally, its thanks to Andrew, that we all know eachother. He has worked hard to create a place where all of us have or have had our share of fun. Attacking the man personally will get you nowhere. You may get a handful of people cheering for you, but general public that knows and cares, knows fully about Andrew's integrity and no one will turn against him because of childish comments and F-bombs....

So with that said, please take any kind of personal opinions/attacks to PM/Email. Im sure Andrew is fully capable of defending himself.

I agree with this in general, but all Dean did was make a joke about a public review of some CD's and Wombat mentioned it publically on MR. People there drew his attention to it and fanned the flames. From there it escalated.

It was a mistake on Andrew's part to respond in public if he doesn't want to draw attention to this place or anything said here.

By the way, ever read classicrockrevisited.com? They give every CD a B, B- or B+.

You are correct about this AR and I will pass it on to Andrew.
Andrew knows this place it PRIVATE. However there are those that hang out here JUST to take anything negative directly to Drew (or SJ/Tito for that matter),,, which is cool with me,,, it just shows who's the leader and who's the follower,,,,
If some people dont have anything better to do that just "tell on us" , then by all means, let them... Im sure we will all get rewarded in afterlife, for providing this poor lost souls with SOME KIND OF LIFE,,,,,,
Back to topic though,
I think what started of as a little fun with Dean and RedJoe, turned out to something it shouldnt have.
Andrew takes some things very seriously and questioning his reviews happen to be one of them. I still wish he would've tried to contact Dean via Email to resolve this, simply because I dont see how they can resolve any issues by posting indirectly to eachother and copy and paste what the other one says. In a way they do contradict themselves.
I simply want to make it clear that if anyone has a bone with Drew or Dean, CONTACT THEM. Simple!

Yeah perhaps, but have you ever noticed that the typed words don't always convey the intent of the person doing the typing? And then people get all up in arms and claim joke or foul and all kinds of nasty crap gets thrown around in an attempt to justify something that probably shouldn't have been typed in the first place.

Hopefully soon cooler heads will prevail.

In the small insane world of Journey fans, there will NEVER be a one big happy family situation, so as far as the Journey forum goes...I do what I can to prevent carnage and constant stress upon my life and countles wasted hours reading crap arguments I could care less about.

That forum is what it is...

If anyone has any legitimate complaints about MR.com (the site, not the message boards), then speak up.

Otherwise, get on with your lives and enjoy them to the fullest.
