Rough few days

Daughter has been sick since Thursday off and on. I played Mr. Mom on Thursday and Friday. Reprieve over the weekend, then did it again Monday and Yesterday.

Pretty quiet in the interim it seems.......

I feel for ya... what I thought was food poisoning is apparently flu. I been all sorts of fucked up since Sunday night. Still fucked up today. I've barely eaten a thing since Sunday afternoon.

I'm hoping another good nights sleep gets me back to 85, 90%. This week has been a total waste.

Dude I never get sick and caught the stomach flu back during the East Coast double blizzard. I can relate. Beer couldn't make me puke but something contracted from our daughter's daycare put the whole house out for almost a week.

Yeah man, I was thinking it was food poisoning... went to Toledo to visit family for the weekend and ate at a Mexican chain Sunday afternoon after hard boozin two nights in a row... felt ok after I got the food in me. Then, I drove home (1.5 hrs or so), sat there for a while hangin out, then around 9 or 10 Sunday night I just started yakkin my brains out. I was 100% sure it was the mexican because I had no warning signs - no tickly throat, aches etc. But, after i still felt pretty off these last two days it's become obvious it's a virus of some kind.

So, basically I was dehyrdated from boozin all weekend and then got the flu on top of it... was a miserable couple days. Still feelin very run down.

I don't ever get sick bad like this. It's been 6 years since I had a flu like this, which was also the only time I was ever hospitalized. That time was worse than this time... got so dehydrated I was delirious.

When I get sick, it's shit I can function with, like a cold or a sinus infection. This was brutal. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours Sunday night cause of all the pukin. Hopefully this is the last for at least another 6 years. Ugh.
