This is absolutely 100% true, and I'll do publicly what I did privately - apologize. That was entirely my fault and I'm sorry about that. I'm simply trying to address Jim's baffling argument that because I denied sending audition tapes to Journey, I am coming on to a message board and lying to people, because in 1998 my wife shared a demo of an electronica arrangement of "Separate Ways" at a meet and greet, and Jim has spent numerous posts throughout the evening accusing me of being a dishonest liar. And anyone with any common sense knows that's just bizarre.

I verified this with Dan, and I'd be happy to post the private message where Dan had to explain the whole situation to me and how he was sure you'd come around and apologize to me someday about it (LOL). I asked you publicly about the cd's release around December 15th, because the LAST statement I received from Kickstarter was from November stating that you were releasing the cd to supporters prior to Christmas. All I did was ask about it, then you went int to the whole "it's recorded, but we didn;t have time to finish the vocals", then"it's done except for the mastering, If you want the money back, I'll just send it to you bullshit. You didn't post your bullshit response on Kickstarter until the day AFTER I posted the question on MR.

You know all you wanted was attention, because you didn't just PM me or send me an email and ask, you had to set Hero Jim up for a Battle Royale again on Andrew's site, right?

Band gets paid $1000

Band gas costs $200
Band hotels cost $300

5 guys in a band get paid $500.

Jeremey is responsible for reporting all income for the band, cause no one else wants their SSN reported to the IRS. So let's see what Jeremey does come tax time.

Jeremey gets charged with $1,000 of band income
Jeremey paid $200 in band gas out of that money
Jeremey paid $300 in hotel expense out of that money

Each band member is 1099'd for $100 income from the gig

Sooo......That's how it works. Yep, Barry Young and YOU have run around telling people that the band members should have gotten to expense the hotel rooms out of the $100 in income they reported. Unfortunately for anyone who believes that, you are a dumbass... I am sorry but you cannot expense money that you did not pay.

Here's another IRS tax lesson.

Let's say the band made $1,000.

Each of the 5 band members get paid $200

Each band member pays for their own gas and hotel rooms, and can write off those expenses against the $200 they made.

See how that works? For some reason, for 5 fucking years, there's been DOUCHEBAGS telling anyone who will listen that I took credit for band expenses and ripped off band members! Newsflash: When you make that argument, you look like an idiot to anyone who has more than a high school education!

Guess what - While we're on the subject of taxes, guess who got audited TWO YEARS IN A ROW by the IRS for handling the taxes, and had to personally pay taxes on EVERY dime we wrote off when we paid out of town sound men who didn't give us receipts. ME - Because everyone in the band threw up their hands and said "we didn't do the taxes, that's not our responsibility!" And technically they were right - I handled the business of the band, I should have gotten the receipts from the sound guys, but to be accused of cheating and lying when I paid out of my own pocket on taxes that EVERYONE in the band owed is just despicable.

Now it appears to me that what you MAY be implying is that I used hotel points and then somehow forged or lied to everyone about the cost of the hotels and pocketed the money that I would have used for hotel points. Now that my friend, is not only a flat out lie that NO ONE has ever accused me of (except for you know who, but we'll get to that in a minute) but is also a DEFAMATORY AND LIBELOUS ACCUSATION and I would tell you right now I WANT PROOF AND BETTER YET, I WANT A FIRST HAND ACCOUNT F SOMEONE IN THE BAND TO COME FORWARD AND ACCUSE ME OF THAT. After the great lengths I went to to make sure I was ABOVE reproach because I KNEW certain people in the band were prone to that "he's getting one over on us" mentality, you better come with some proof motherfucker before you accuse me of being a thief. Yeah that's what I said.

So finally let's get to that....proof. This all comes down to a guy that is friends with a lot of people here that was upset because I fired him from the band when I went full time. A guy who fabricated lies and stories about me and gave fuel to anyone who didn't like me to begin with. Ultimately a guy who accused me of this crazy IRS tax nonsense, a guy who accused me of stealing from my own brothers, a guy who didn't have the honor to respect gigs that were booked, who just decided "Oh, I don't want to do that gig" whenever he chose, and thought he could then have first pick on whatever gigs I booked as a full time band. Now I know this person is a great funny guy in a social situation, he's likable and he parties and he has lots of friends. So it's hard to believe he's full of shit, but guess what...That's one example where I KNEW what I was dealing with and, so sorry....I DO have proof. Proof that he lied about money that he owed the band after it broke up. Proof of the kind of character that would then cause him to behave in the same way with his next employer who took legal action against him.
