Seriously though, yeah that was wrong. I got seven original albums in front of me with Perry's name all the fuck over them as one of the writers, so why shouldn't he get paid. Suddenly the laws regarding publishing/writing royalties (as I understand them) are supposed to go out the window because Neal got his period and doesn't think he should have to share? His ass is the one that's choosing to be out there performing and carrying on with the band so he's knowingly contributing to Perry sitting on his ass and making money. He could stay the hell home and tend garden if he wants, I don't see a gun to his head.

If the situation were reversed, Neal would have a very different opinion about getting paid like a motherfucker. Mad

Not to mention he's using someone to actually mimic Steve Perry's voice - inflections and all – to make money off of the songs they made together. Don't Tribute bands usually have to pay to do that?

I love Neal, but what an ingrate he is being. Perry's voice is what has and is putting money in his pocket. Be it in its original or Filipino form.

I personally think he gave us all the answers we ever needed as to why he stopped singing and why it is so hard for him to do it now.
I sure do hope he finds the courage and drive to sing and record again..He is sorely missed by this person.

Here is what cracks me up. Neal talks this way about SP in the GQ interview, a$$hole that he is, and then does an interview on Sunday Morning today. The basis of the interview was for the "NEW" Journey, yet every single song they played and sequence they played in the interview except one had SP plastered all over it, not Arnel. So where the hell does Neal get off talking about Steve this way. Who is riding WHOSE coat tails?
