Sherrie had a couple of cats, and he seemed to like them.

In an old interview he talked about one day he was outside his house in the yard and this young cat kinda walked up the drive way, passed him, then turned around and looked at him as if to say "Oh. By the way. I live here now" I think he called her "Kitty"
